The Thundercats (For more info go here--> [link] ) In all honesty, I find Mumm-Ra to be one of the best villans. He's just so wonderful and his affection to Ma-Mutt: [link] is adorable. If you are wondering about the underside of Mumm-Ra, it's his home, the Black Pyramid. I tried to add a sort of double-image with a nighttime scene around the pyramid. Ahhh my childhood hero. Yes I looked up to MummRa for hope and inspiration as a kid.
*sigh* They just don't make em like they used to. I mean villians now days are all a bunch of pansy-ass sissies compared too a true lunatic like MummRa.
When I was about 7 used to dress up as MummRa (meaning wear a red blanket like a cloak) and scuttle about at an unnatural speed, constantly hiding and popping out of strang places shouting "Mhuuummmmm-Rrrraawr" with a sort of raspy grate to my voice not unlike a growl... apparently it was pretty creepy because I made more then one adult let out a high pirched squeel and swat wildly at me.
Ahh, making grown men scream like girls has always made my day. lol
Oh yes and of course I love this pic. BTW, what gave you the idea to put the pyramid upside down like that? (not a critique, as I can see why it should be, just wondering what inspired it for you)

And I completely agree. Mumm-Ra has to be one of the best villains out there. I mean, he's like Satan's right-hand man (and he acts like it too)!
This and the Ma-Mutt picture merit further investigation for me. You've got some real talent, especially considering the fact that you're only using pencils and paper! When can I expect more Thundercats art?
